I support a local staffie rescue the happy staffie rescue.

They have take on a staffie called Missy who has had to have an op to remove several lumps. Missy has a facebook appeal and a link off the website - if anyone can spare a £1 or more to help with the vets bills please have a look.

Please feel free to cross post to other forums if needed.

Once she is a bit better Missy will be looking for a forever home

There are some wonderful dogs looking for new homes on the site - Id love to offer Bella or Missy a home but cant have another dog so am trying to get involved and help this staffie charity instead!

Not good news Im afraid - results were back and the tumours are cancer and there will not be a cure.

Missy needs another op to remove another 2 lumps but outlook is not good.

Some hard choices to be made in the future - just wish she could find a home to spend her time in, kennels try their best but she needs a home to live in
