Hi, I'm not a regular poster but I do visit now and then to see what's going on, today I was sorting a box that I had stored and come across a lovely book of memories from you guys, see I'm silverpixies daughter in law and I sat will tears in my eyes and a smile reading all the posts that had been made following Lynn's death.  I just wanted to thank you all for your kind words as after all this time it still means a lot.  I miss her very much, I have another son now and I always tell him that his nanny Linda was a great lady, I'm just sad she never got to meet him.

Thanks guys and sorry for the rambling post just felt I needed to say something xx

Hi goldenchipie

Lovely to hear from you, we have certainly not forgotten Silverpixie and we still miss her. She was a tremendous lady and her passing must have left a huge hole in your family.

Are you Tyler's Mum? You kindly came to have a meal with Alsacienne and me before the funeral and it was good to meet you. How is Tyler now? I bet he's getting quite grown up. I know he was a handful at times but Silverpixie loved him dearly and was very proud of him. Congratulations on the new addition to your family, his nanny Linda would have been thrilled.

I hope Lynne's other sons are all OK too, the last few years have been very difficult for a lot of people due to the credit crunch etc. Are you still in touch with Lynne's partner? Gosh I can't remember his name, we used to call him Mr Pixie on the forum! I remember he had a lot of health problems.

This forum isn't as busy as it used to be - a lot of people have gone over to Facebook or other chat groups, but we have a few new members, and we still try to keep in touch with each other.

Best wishes for the future, you know where we are if you have time to drop in again and want to share some memories of Lynne, or just have some virtual hugs x

Dear goldenchipie

I remember Lynn as though it was yesterday ... and everytime I take the M20 from Dover and pass through Ashford I think lovingly of her, Clive, Lee, Tyler and the rest of the family ... and also remember our meeting for supper the day before her funeral.

Do please bring us up to date if you wish ... use the PM facility if you'd prefer.  Lynn, and all those who surrounded her with love, is not forgotten on this forum and I still think of her a lot and wish I'd been able to spend more time with her ... she taught me a great deal, and I am still fortunate that I got to know her.

Acorn is spot on.  Linda was a nanna that Tyler can be proud of, and do tell your new lad all about her.  Very much an individual who touched our lives for good.

Thinking of you with love and respect, and may the book of memories bring you comfort and strength even if they cause the tears to flow again.

Much love

Alsa xxxx
