Sharm El Sheikh in January...

Just wondering if anyone has ever been... or knows of anyone who has been here in January? We are thinking of going just for the week. Was just wondering what the weather is like at this time of year. Cheers...

We have just come back from there and had temps of 45-48 most days and 35-38 most nights, it was lovely.

Anyway as for January apparently it is still hot out there but it gets windy, i cant be more specific but thats what the reps were saying

we went xmas/new year ....its still lovely and sunny...not scorching hot though....tee-shirts and shorts during the day..when you are not sun bathing.

evenings tend to draw in about 4-5pm....and can get a bit chilly when you will need a cardi or light jacket.

unless the swimming pools are heated they can be cold. the sea though will be lovely.

it gets very dark quick..
so the sun will set about 5 ..instant darkness..
have a lovely time/
