Right I made Macaroni Cheese, for my daughter, but she didn't like it
Maybe I shousldn't have put onions, leeks, herbs, mustartd and a Bayleaf in it
Has anyone got a KIDS RECIPE.
My son loved it, and ate two big plates.
But it wasn't like my daughter has at school
I want to make it for her agaion next week, a small one just for her.

My kids just like it plain.
Macaroni with cheese sauce (butter and Flour then add the milk and then once thickened the cheese)(no frills).
They do like Bacon in it though. _________________

Thanks Skyegal
Bacon sounds a good idea.
How much milk/cheese/flour do you use to make a small one.
My recipe was for 8 1 and 3/4 pints of milk
Way too much. |

Hi Chelsea
Don't have proper measurements as made it that often but
melt about 1 oz butter - add couple of tablespoons of flour (to make paste) then add about 8 fl oz of milk. Once thickened add the cheese.
(and the bacon if your kids like it). _________________
