The new Arctics Album,Due out on the 23rd of this month. The Lead Single,Brianstorm is out this week. Its a quality song. And i managed to get the album, Which is amazing, I love the Lyricism of Alex Turner, And Matt helders is one of the best Drummers England has ever produced. The album is Amazing, Ill be buying it for definite the first days its out, 3 copys, one for the car,one for the house and one for the dorm.

Stand out tracks are 505,D is for Dangerous, Balaclava, flourescent adolesant, only one who knows and The Bad thing. The others are growers. Like Stil ltake you home was, i didnt like it at first, now its in my top 3 arctic songs.

April 23rd, Go out and buy there album. Its Well worth it!

This Album is a modern Masterpiece, The Chord Progression and the changes are brilliant, something not really associated with The Arctics, Its musically brilliant. Lyrics,Amazing, Bt of a Review here track by Track.

1. Brianstorm- Lead single, Great Bassline and Driving Guitars, Lyrics are Good. Very simple song, catchy. 7/10

2. Teddy Picker- Absolute Quality, Amazing Start and Great Lyrics,Real Energetic Song,Alot Like Red Door indicates Doors are secure. 10/10

3. D Is For Dangerous - Again, Quality Song. Really in your face, Great Lyrics including the phrase 'Dirty Little Herbert' Genious. 9/10

4. Balaclava -i LOVE this song, the start, 'jumping over next doors garden before the hour is done, its not a question of being naughty, its more a question of fun,Confidence is the balaclava i know you'll baffle em good,But its wrong wrong wrong but you do it anyway cos it feels so right!' then the Guitars a drums kick in and the tempo picks up, Should of been the lead single. Amazing song. 10/10

5. Fluorescent Adolescent - for Me, this is the Arctic monkeys best Song to date,Its a follow on from When the sun goes down, but focusing on the woman in question,20-30 years on. hence the lyrics 'You used to Get it in your fishnets, now you only get it in your nightdress,Discarded all the naughty nights for niceness,Landed in a very common crisis.' Its an absolute Gem of a song. the chord progression, changes and the drums are all spot on. 10/10

6. Only Ones Who Know-Slow song, a ballad dedicated to Turners Girlfriend. Slow and lacks drums and a lead. words are good, this one will most likely grow on me like riot van. 5/10

7. Do Me A Favour - Starts Slow, but builds up in to a destructive climax, very good song, but not one which hits you straight away 7/10

8. This House Is a Circus - Arctic monkeys Do Nu Rave! you can see this being played at raves, glow sticks and all, Its very Klaxons, which figures because Simian Produced the Record, amazing though, the lyrics are bouncy, the guitars are out of this world. 10/10

9. If You Were There, Beware - Good song, great concet, again, quite a slow start, songs Quality though. 7/10

10. The Bad Thing -Doooo the bad thing, Take off your Wedding Ring! Great start to this and the lyrics are top drawer, so well put together too. Love it - 10/10

11. Old Yellow Bricks - The reason behind the Wizard of Oz costumes at the brits, Song is very Well produced, The Synth in great, and the effect on the bass is something else. another Gem of a song. 9/10

12. 505- This is quite possibly the best song He has ever wrote, according to him anyway...Its great, not too heavy, I think its about Kate Moss and alaex turner rejecting her advances at a party, then saying in NME that she reminded him of the 'skeleton in Mr Rondells Biology Class' But the song is a peach. '10/10.

The album overall is a 9.9 out of 10 Its an absolute master stroke by the lads to put out 2 top quality albums in the space of 16 months, not forgetting a Cult EP and 4 awesome re releases.

I suggest everybody purchase this album. its a must have!

He's a brilliant observer of life and brilliant lyricist. Musically clever in parts too. Some people won't like it cos it can sound a bit 'samey' if you know what I mean, but I think it's another good album from them. Can't really add anything more... you've said it all!
Have you heard the latest White Stripes 'Icky Thump'? I've heard a couple of things off it and it sounds ace. I'll have to get that one too.

Mardy Bum is a brill song from the Whatever people say i am...... album
It has moody women down to a tee, hubby sings it to me

"i see your frown, and its like looking down the barrel of a gun"

"when your all argumentative and you`ve got the face on"
