Watching the five british kids on a trip to a camp in america, what an awful illness to have, one of the lads kept shouting out twin towers, although he did'nt want to

I watched it, and agree it must be a terrible illness to suffer from.
But why, when they shout out is it always bad and rude language?
I can understand their thoughts automatically coming out but surely they don't think about swearing and racist comments all the time, so I don't understand why it's these things that get blurted out. |

Crew4, it does seem strange why a lot of the words said are swear words, i thought the same until i read an interveiw with Jessica (the girl from the show) she said that the words she uses are mostly the ones that she knows are disgusting, hurtful and some times alarming, its not by choice, she knows its wrong but just cant stop them from coming out of her mouth. She also gave the best explanation i have heard about what its like to have outbursts, she said its like a big strong sneeze building up until she says the word, then its gone until the next time.
Hope this made sense???

| We were behind a girl in the airport check-in. She was shouting things that she could see around her...such as EASYJET F##K...and BAGGAGE F##K. |

I only saw the last half hour of it but thoroughly enjoyed it, thought it gave a good insight into a distressing condition |

its a weird thing, i know a few people who want to get tourettes, for the humour side.
i used to go to school with a kid who had tourettes, he was a legend.
we use a part of our brain to supress words we dont want to say, and keep quiet, 1 in 100 people cant control that part, and thats where tourettes comes in.
One of the funniest things ive ever seen was this lad in school who had it, We were at a theatre trip, and he shouted 'F*****g 80's Lampshade'. It had all of us in tears. _________________ I feel like nothin' I do is ever right
