An excellent writer of police mysteries; while he has someother characters and some one-offs, his strongest series are those featuring Hieronymus 'Harry' Bosch, a likeable caring thoughtful flawed cop. Well recommnded for cop novel lovers!

The Poet was one the earlier books in this series.
It was very good.

Garryb, the Poet was the first Michael Connelly book that I read and it is still one of my favourites. Have you read "The Narrows" The Poet is back.

Just started reading the Narrows, but my best so faf is The Black Ice.
I have read a few of his books, but I think I may start soucing them from the start and read them in order.
Which of Micheal,s books do not include Harry the cop.

He's written a number of books which don't feature Harry Bosch:

The Poet
Blood Work
Void Moon
Chasing The Dime
The Lincoln Lawyer

and a couple of non-fiction (but crime based) ones

I started reading the Narrows yesterday and I am well past the half way mark. I now know Hary was not in the "Poet" but he is after him now
Much better than a film, and never mind the garden.

Just bought 5 Michael Connelly books off E Bay, over the past day.
Lots of good Harry Bosch to read over the coming weeks.

Just reading my first of these books - the closer. Hubby said it was good - he read it in a day on holiday so I thought I'd give it a bash. I'm a bit slower though as i read on my train journey to and from work and I keep falling alseep!

I have now purchased all 11 novels involving Harry Bosch, just waiting on the 5th (Trunk Music) arriving by post as I have the first 4 read.

Lots of good reading ahead.

Robert
