Avoid like the plague!!!!

This is the dreaded GOLDTRAIL......a tour firm to avoiud at all costs!!!!

Without rehashing old news, I ended up suing them after a disasterous holiday with them. Eventually they paid up.....

I would not travel with GOLDTRAIL if they paid me the £272 per passenger.

Sorry to hear about your problems with them,but there are people who travel with them time and time again and never have problems.
Same can be said about any travel company.
You go on HT and see how many complaints people have especially through the My Travel group,but people still travel with them and im certain the good holidays vastly outweigh the bad or people wouldnt go with them again and again.
Obviously because you have had a bad holiday through Goldtrail you want to warn others.But if everybody took notice because one person told them to avoid a company they had a bad experience with no one would be going away at all as all companies have people with complaints at some time.

It's not just me jojo......as you mentioned HT, you will find pages and pages of complaints against Goldtrail on that site. I only mentioned that I had sued them because in addition to reading everyone else's woes, I had had my own troubles.

They are seriously to be avoided.

Remember the old adage: "If it looks too good to be true, that's because it usually is".

Certainly with Goldtrail, the low price all too accurately reflects the truth of "you get what you pay for".

The 3* rating is probably the hotel's own. Do check back on "the other site" for all the myriad complaints against Goldtrail.

**Edited** Have just checked myself and there are over 40 pages about this Company on the other site. It's not just my opinion........

The thing is yes i agree there are are quite a few complaints on HT about Goldtrail,but there are also alot of people saying that they had good holidays through them.
What you tend to find on a site like HT you hear more about the bad holidays/ complaints of a company than you do about the many good holidays people have had through them,same with My Travel,First choice and Thomas Cook and many more.
Anyway glad you got yours sorted and i must admit fingers crossed i have never had a bad holiday yet in years and years of travelling.I must be really lucky.

An awful lot of people use Goldtrail for the Calis/Fethiye region....not sure why but for some reason they seem to have less cock-ups here than to other Turkish resorts??
