Cuba Cayos Coco

Assume you land at Varadero? How long to travel onto Cayo? We travelled onward bound to Holguin for Playa Pesquero and found the extra journey tiring.
Just wondered how long it took to get to the Cayos

Heather There is an international airport (Jardine del Rey) on Cayo Coco you fly direct from UK. Although I do think sometimes flights may contain holidaymakers going to Holguin or Varadero so thy may land there and take off again usually if you have the two landings outbound you only have one home bound or visa versa.
We flew from Manchester on A Thomas Cook airbus in Nov 04 both out and back direct.

That's great news, really fancy it for next Christmas but didn't fancy the trip. When we went to Guardalavca it was a nightmare journey. We would be travlleing from Manchester, so keeping fingers crossed. Anywhere you can recommend for a good AI?

If I was going again and had the money it would be the Mellia Cayo Guillermo. We stayed at the Playa Coco which is anew hotel and still getting very mixed reviews but it cost us half what the Mellia would have been, and we thoughtit was okfor what we paid.

Just depends what you are looking for there are no towns on the Cayos or Cuban residents Is purely a holiday destination for foreigners looking for a chill out beach holiday. There is some further info on my website link below.
