It's about a guy who has just retired, who begins to lose his mind. That sounds awful, but it is about him and his family, and it is quite funny!!!! Very cleverly written. _________________

Just finished "Fatawa" about an English girl, whom after a holiday romance in Egypt for a week ends up marying him!!
The book is her story of how her life changes for the worse, and her journey of escapism.
A very good read. Have also read "Sold" by Zana Mushen (similar true story)
If anyone knows of any other similar reads please let me know |

I finished A Spot of Bother last night, and yes I did enjoy it. Compared to my usual reads, I didn't know how it was going to end, which made a change.
Don't think I would bother to buy his other book though.
Am now reading Six Reasons to Stay a Virgin by Louise Harwood, which is back to my normal chick lit _________________

Finished I Choose to Live last night. A very good read Karen, but I can`t figure out why it took 8 years to come to trial.
I`ve just started The Afghan, by Frederick Forsyth, was that one of yours guest? It looks to have all the makings of a really good story, but I`m not that far into it yet. |
