What are your reading at the moment & any suggestions

I am reading Martina Cole "The Take" and thoroughly enjoying it, She just gets better.

Also have read a lot of Jodi Picoult books recently they are very good as well.

Any suggestions fo other good books.

I've just finished reading 'The little prisoner' by Jane Elliot. Sad book,couldnt put it down

I'm reading my way through Diana Gabaldons time travelling series again as I have run out of books :?
Have not long finished the latest Patricia Cornwell, Predator, that was ok but not as good as her earlier stuff

If you like epics try Stephen Kings Dark Tower Series. I read them before but now I have all 7 books I started again from the beginning.

On book 5 at the moment.

First book is quite hard to follow but stick with it.

I have just finished "there are gods in Alabama" by Joshlyn Jackson

its a great book about a southern girl who makes a deal with god that she will never tell another lie, or go back to her hometown, if in return God promises to never let anyone find the body of the man she murdered!! or did she?

its great really enjoyed it

Daughter's reading Patricia Cornwall "The Predator" and she said the same thing. I thought her last few books haven't been very good.

Kathy Reichs has seemed to taken over her mantel with her Tempe Brennan books.

Im just about to start Kathy Kellys new one well its out in small size so its now so new and am just finished Mandescue Hellers the Charmer it was brilliant. She is the same type of writer as Martina Cole. Hubby has bought me here new one The Take for Christmas so am glad to read here that she just gets better and better

Just finished reading the Davinci Code by Dan Brown, thought it was a bit slow to start but turned out to be a good book (well my type anyway), just started Angels and demons by him now.
I've started to collect some old ones ready for my hoildays in January, you may know some of them: 3rd Degree by James patterson, Disordered Minds by Minette Walters, The Memory Game by Nicci French and Kisscut by Karin Slaughter, should help pass the time while I'm soaking up the rays.

Notes from a Big Country, perhaps guest?

As for me I'm reading "The Last Runes of the Earth" the sequel - after 20-odd years - to the two trilogys of stories about Thomas Covenant, the Unbeliever, by Stephen Donaldson.

Very much an acquired taste, and you have to have read the first 6 books to follow this one!

(Actually, to be wholly accurate I'm mostly reading "The Certificate in Regulated General Insurance Handbook" as I want to try to get the exam out of the way before Christmas, but that's not recommended foot up with a glass of plonk and the tin of Quality Street reading!!)

Just finished The Bad Mother's Handbook, Kate Long. A great book, makes you laugh and cry, really got in to all the 3 main characters of mother, daughter and grandmother.

Now starting Blood Knot by Denise Ryan. Same mould as Martina Cole, but set mainly in the Liverpool area.

Jane and Mike Tomlinson The Luxury of Time.

A really good book ,lots of emotions while reading this book crying 1 minute laughing the next ,angry the next.

What a brave lady she is !!!!!!!!
