Are you dissing my famalayyyy?? Do i look bovverd??
Well it is on after the watershed. I think 8 is too young.
I think the old incontinent woman isn't funny. It just seemed to be taking the mickey out of old people who suffer the humilation of incontinence. There has been complaints from Help the Aged about it. _________________

I don't think the incontinence or vomiting scenes are funny. _________________

Normally I would agree with you sun-seeker. I'm not very often offended by things on TV. But it just seemed to be taking the mickey out of incontinence, and just didn't make me laugh. I wasn't offended by it, it just wasn't funny in the slightest, IMO.
I love the vomiting scene hbrac, although the vomiting itself wasn't funny, it was the middle-aged woman's reaction to the black guy that made me laugh. _________________

Yes, but it's about racism, and how some people are ignorant and racist. It's taking the piss out of those idiots. Racist people are beneath contempt and taking the piss out of them re-inforces the fact that racists are scum. _________________

Also, in previous series, the vomiting woman has vomited when eaten cakes made by gay people, as well as cakes made by differing ethnic groups. That's the gag. You might not find it funny, but it's very clever. _________________

There are some people missing the whole point of the programme.
The title Little Britain, is about 'little Britains'..Little Englanders..stuck in their ways and idiosyncrasy's. It is taking the piss out of the very people who are doing the vomiting etc. Old fashioned Middle - England WI ladies...twinsets and pearls...never come into contact with 'foreigners or gays etc.
The incontinent lady...if you were to witness this in the supermarket, you wouldnt bat an eye-lid, you would pretend you didnt notice the puddle of piss you were stood in. That is 'Britains' for you!
Daffyd Thomas...the only gay in the village. he yearns to meet another gay, but is always horrified if another one appears on his territory.
The programme isnt poking fun at gays, coloured people or incontinents...its how we as Brits react to things it is taking the piss out of, ergo ourselves. |

Well I love the programme - its off the wall!
My 10 year old comes home from school saying stuff from the programme that she has picked up - but Im sure she hasnt got a clue what it really means! I hope!!!
I think this series is much closer to the bone than the last one - but just classic! My favourite is Anne - UH UH URRR!
