Nick, neither Rhydian nor any of the others are allowed to release a record until after Leon`s is out, so Rhydian won`t have one out for Christmas, unfortunately.

Has anyone noticed that the last 2 consecutive winners of the X Factor had christian names beginning L E O N ?

If theres a Leonard, Leonardo, Leonata in next years show. My money is on them.

What a shock result !! Wanted Rids to win - he was far better in the song for recording.

Ok what made me think this was a fix......... - if you saw the Westlife show before X factor, simon and louie were on here - when asked about X factor - Simon said "You will be suprised - there will be an upset tonight" (or words to those effect)

Alos did you hear him also say to Rids after one of his performances - "Even if you do not win, you have a good voice"

Ermmmmmmmm maybe its just me - but something was up!

Maybe because they could see how the voting was going.

Im scottish and I certainly didn't vote for leon, infact no one I know did. In the pub last night we were all gutted when rhydian didnt win. Now Im praying leon can't knock leona off number one. lol

Who ever chose the winners song, should be shot. Its awful

You`re right there Milnbank, the song was really dreary, but at least Rhydian made a fair job of it, Leon was terrible. And his speaking voice, so one tone and monotonous!

Personally I think it has gone downhill since George Formby and his little stick of Blackpool rock.

I wanted Rhydian to win but in hindsight, I think he'll be much better off for not winning.

Leon will be a one hit wonder but Rhydian will be around for a long time yet.

It seems I'm not the only one that thought Kylie looked horrendous on Saturday

The paper points out that she is the same age as Leon's mum and looked ridiculous in that outfit.

I couldn't help thinking how stunning Kathryn Jenkins looked in her dress - cut away at the back to look sexy unlike the tarty look of Kylie!

Well, now Ofcom are investigating the show as 80 people have complained about not being able to get through to vote for Rhydian.
