Not only that but it's inevitable that a few days after it comes out the plot will be revealed and that will spoil it for you

oh! oh! oh! Im so excited this topic has come back again and there are new peeps on here!
Emma glad you loved the first one.........and let me tell you if you loved IT wait till you get onto the third one onwards.............I just cant put them down! Sally an ideal time to read em when you were pregnant and had more time
Tango see you love em too....................there seems to be quite a lot of us now!!!!
Ceri after we talked the other week I started to read the Order of the Pheonix again and am going to do the Half Blood Prince again before the new one comes out.
Its funny but you actually get something new out of them when you read them again, there is always something you have missed.........and I still say they can be read on two levels........for adults and children......I think that there are parts of them quite horrific.
What Id like to know is how on earth they can do the last book (half blood prince) for a film which children could watch! Look at the bit where the zombie creatures come out of the lake and also the bit where Harry does the curse on Draco and the blood spurts out of him etc...............sounds worse than the Exorcist!!!
ooo Im starting to rabbit now, but I just love this series!
Please keep the topic going folks until the new book comes out! |

hey jo, heres a link, but be careful what you read as some of them are claiming to have read the book already---they say that they are booksellers and get the book early for display purposes--personally i don't believe them.

I am going to re-read the last one too....then Alex is going to buy the last one but save it to read when we go on our horrendous holiday to my mother's in France 1st August. She lives in the middle of nowhere, not even walking distance of a village, no beach, no pool....and I dont get on with my mother |

I have posted this over on the general forum for those who do not look in this on.
Well like many others no doubt I have got my copy of the new book.
No I am not going to tell you how it ends - go buy your own.
And that is the point of this post. Who is kidding who?
Cover price £17.99 - Morrison's price £4.99 - other places anywhere in between.
Now I can sympathise with small book shops when they say they cannot compete with the big boys. But how much is the profit margin?
As we often say are we being ripped off at some of the prices being charged?
The book was going to sell anyway so was/is there a need for such a high artificial price?
Have I got a bargain or is it a case of I have paid what it is really worth?
How much did you pay?
