what kind of nightlife is in Protaras?what kind of nightlife is there in Protaras? Is there a variety of clubs and bars or is it just karaoke like other resorts?

Hi Emma
There is a variety, but there is a lot of karaoke and a lot of tribute acts (the likes of Elvis, Robbie Williams, Kylie, etc.)
There are quieter bars and ones with a bit more oomph (like the Robin Hood) or some that are party bars (like Bells Cocktail Bar - there they have karaoke, an Elvis act and then it's party time)
There are a couple of clubs, these get going later in the night, or for even more choice, Ayia Napa is a short bus or taxi ride away.

I put that in my post too Polar  because although we like to stay in Protaras, we do like to go to Napa for some nights too
