Youve all been so helpful so I thought Id ask you this one

When we go in August we will have two boys with us and I was wondering about transport from the airport.

Obviously we will have luggage with us so Im assuming a normal taxi wouldnt do the job?

What does everyone else do about this, I know theres lots on here who have apartments or go to visit relatives.............do you need to pre order a largere vehicle or what?

You should have no problem with a taxi.

Most of them are Mercedes and I would estimate more than half are estates versions. 4 cases would be no problem.

Approx 20euro and 10min from airport. Just fasten your seat belt

Another option is Via express who use a minibus.

A bit slower as you may have other people getting dropped off bu still ok.

Thats good news Laws, I thought they might not take us plus cases, Ill put that little niggle to the back of my mind. As the weather gets better Im starting to look forward now!

We always just jump a taxi.

Enjoy garden city it is a lovely complex.

Scarlet we always get a taxi right outside the airport as laws said it only takes 10 minutes which is great

The greta thing about the link i put on is NO WAITING in queues at the airport at all , the bloke is waiting in arrivals with a name board and takes you bags to the car , you dont pay till you get there either

Have to say taxis are very quick from south airport. constant stream means any queue if there is one, diminishes quickly.

I doubt if you will get there quicker than a taxi

This is a FAB idea! I thought taxi transfers were far more expensive. It's £20 each on top of the holiday for transfers when booked with the TA, it's the same price virtually, and you don't go all over the shop! I'm not doing that again when I go to Canaries!
