the basic budget!!!i just dont get the basic budget anymore!!
in the first few BB's, when on basic rations, they would make their own bread. i think they even made their own pizzas.
they were supplied with recipies in order to make them....there was never any of this living on chick peas and rice for a week!!
why dont the hm's go back to this......i know rex said once about getting loads of tins of tomaotes to make sauces with...but he cant do a thing right with the shopping list!
get flour....fat....and you can make pastry...they could make flans...pies even!!
why they are worried about peanut butter, biscuits and chocolate i just dont know!!!
and have they actullay NOTICED the tomotoes ripening in the garden...cause even i saw them last night!!

The problem as I see it is they don't know how to cook and will not listen to Rex who does know what he is talking about.
Many of them seem used to living off rubbish food at home and have no experience of actually cooking a proper meal. I couldn't understand how chicken nuggets could possibly be cheaper then buying a chicken and vegetables and making a huge pot of soup.
The obsession with custard creams and chocolate have shocked me (I'm a big woman) I can easily last a few weeks without chocolate and biscuits so cannot see why they can't too !!

yes you could be right...some of them dont know how to cook...and dont want to learn either!
it should be the ones who are capable and want to cook for the rest.... they should be the ones sorting out the shopping list....that way they could get what is needed.
as for the biscuits and chocolate.....i love chocolate but i would prefer a good hearty meal instead if i were on a tight budget!!

well lisa said she could cook, her cooking hasnt been that good yet.
she made a flat cake the other day..
they are bone idle the gossip group..
and bexz showed that in the bike task, she couldnt be bothered ..that just about sums her up...lazy...

i remember anne diamond on celeb BB makin bread everyday, an older group then but if rex is a chef wont he know how to make basic stuff?,,,,,unless im not gettin the live feed of him in the kithcen, they could do loads couldnt they with chickens,,,,, cheap meat, where are they sourceing the food, bloody harrods, £4 for 6 bars of choccy>

They get the food from Tesco but BB sets the prices some years they have charged well over a pound for a bottle of value tomato ketchup !
