SunderlandThere is an amazing support for Sunderland sweeping through Ireland at the moment because of the fact our boy Roy is managing them.
Every Saturday people seem to check did their team win and then its did Sunderland win. I was in a pub last night and the amount of people watching the sunderland/Stoke match was amazing and everybody waiting on the Birmingham and Derby results.
People over here would love to see Sunderland go up at the expense of Wolves. Guess sort of revenge for Saipan really. And who said it is only sport.

We've noticed quite a few Irish accents at the Stadium of Light on matchdays .It's all a far cry from the end of last season when we were a joke 
We still can't quite believe that Roy Keane is our manager !!

Roy Keane Is my Football Idol. I modelled my Game on him. And what a first season in management hes had, From the Foot of the table to Pushing for The automatics is a great feat. Keano is a Great motivator,i mean, would you dare mess up if you played for him?
I loved watching him play, the heart he had was amazing, the tackles he made, even the dirty ones were inspiring!
I bet the Bookies are on there Arse if they go up, Jack Pearson was offering 22-1 on sunderland promotion at the start of the season, one of the lads i drink with put 50 quid on it.
I hope sunderland go up, and Wolves stay Down,i hate Mick M with a passion.

Being fair Mick did a decent job here when he took over after the debacle of the Peter Reid /Howard Wilkinson season , the club sold any player that we could and was teetering on the edge of financial ruin, I just don't feel he was backed well financially and then made very poor decisions with the money he was given.
Roy Keane has been ruthless with the squad , he's shipped out players who were not prepared to give 100% and has worked miracles with some of our players who were.
The players that he has brought in have all made a difference .
the fans are loving it up here because between them Roy Keane and Niall Quinn are bringing back the passion to the club that was just slipping away , it's just great at the minute
