Odd thing about Spurs. I've been following them since just before Jimmy Greaves' days (how many years is THAT! ) and I think I noticed a curious pattern although this is not by any means as the result of a scientifically controlled testing procedure.
It seems to me that in recent years, more often than not, Spurs start at the top end, plummet to the nether regions then claw themselves back up to finish mid table.... or ... the other way round .... hit rock bottom then climb towards the top only to slide back to finish outside the top flight.
Anyone else see this or do I need new glasses? I only hope it's true this year.
