Pond plantsDoes anyone no if there are any plants that can go on the bottom of the pond in water about 30 inches deep apart from Lillies we have one of those. All the plants I have seen have to be put in water 6 - 9 inches deep. We have just started a new pond and need a bit of cover for the fish as it's lookin a bit bare.

theres parrots feather...you can just throw that in your pond.
i've got a water hawthorn...that can be planted upto 20 ins deep...i've sited mine on an upturned bucket in the water to get the right depth.

Thank you, i'll have to try and get to a bigger pond and fish shop the one by us is only small and don't have much to choose from.
Now I no you can get them for deeper water I no what to ask for.

Got some parrots feather it's really pretty, but they didn't have or no about the water hawthorne.
I'll try somewhere else over the week end if I get chance.

ooo charlie..when i got my water hawthorne it was kept with the lillies...and cost a fraction of the price...it flowers too...will google it for you....
