This is tragic news, coming as it does, just one week into the start of the new summer season.
My first thoughts are for their friends and families who must be devastated by the news. Secondly I feel for their colleagues in Thomsons who will be shocked and saddened by this event. As many of you know on this forum, my son was a stage technician for Thomson Gold and spent two summers in Alcudia, so I feel particularly sad for the families involved. I can't begin to imagine what they're going through. |

Just been thinking about this again earlier when they said the woman wasnt from that far away from here , i agree with what Acorncup said about thoughts and wishes
BUT after working for a custo,er service team in the travel indusrtry i will place money on the case that SOME PEOPLE WILL BE SO INSENSITIVE THAT TEHY WILL COMPLAIN TO THOMSON THAT THEY DIDNT HAVE A WELCOME MEETING/REP VISIT TODAY obviuosly a a lot of the other reps will be having councelling and i hope Thomsons say dont go in if you dont want but some people will be so insensitive all they will want is compo sorry rant over |
