I was told that if you had accomodation near the Marmaris end then it was only a short prom walk into Marmaris itself.....not having been there I don't know if this info is correct.We have been to Marmaris before but stayed in the Almutalan area

nuttynet, we went to altinkum in 03, we didn't stay at the esra, but when we went on trips the coach always stopped there, its a bit outside of altinkum town, but looked quite a big place, they have had quite a bit of work done since then and i think the reviews are good on it now. holidaysuncovered has a lot of reviews on it.

7 July for 2 fantastic weeks in Kalkan, without the boys.
Only 12 weeks to go and I'll be on that roof terrace watching the world go by with that lovely view over Kalkan and Kalamar bay..............can't wait think I'll go and see if there's any Raki left
