Been there done that and I don't want to do it again.
We went to Majorca in a couple of years ago and visited Magaluf for the day.
O my goodness that was an experience.
Gangs of drunks vomiting and spitting in the streets shouting abuse at passers by it was terrible.
Never would we go there again.
For the life of me I can't ever remember being like that when we were young.
Yet we went to all the beach parties up all night clubbing etc.
When I said I hope that thing Liam is going to isn't anywhere near us , I really ment it.
I hope it's the other side of the island.

The thought of spending a week in the middle of that
I would have to move somewhere else.
I know all young people are not like it but I feel a large number of them will be.

First time we have ever been to Ibiza, I was looking forward to it.

Its a lovely island charlie

Only been the once but would have no hesitation going back

Just pick one of the quieter resorts

You will be fine

Ibeza is not Magaluf!

I have only been to Ibeza as part of a cruise, (Friday night stay-over) but I found even the nightlife to be very friendly.

Loud, slightly crazy, outlandish........and that was only me!!!

Early next morning walked up through the old town and around the battlements...different place altogether.

I think it is one of those places that you can have the holiday you choose from Family to Clubber and anywhere in between.

You should have a great time.
charlie

O.K the Ibiza rocks is at Bar M in the bay of San Antonio.
Please tell me that is miles away from Santa Eulalia

Nice and quiet that what we need.
fizz

charlie stop your worrying ive stayed in San Antonio twice with the kids they loved it as much as us, the clubbers dont bother you at all, ibiza town at night is fab, you must visit it if you can while your there.

Hi,
Santa Eulalia is on the other side of the island from san Antonio.
We stayed in Figueritas about a twenty minute walk to Ibiza town one way and 15 minutes to Playa Den Bossa the other way.We went to Santa Eulalia on the boat from Ibiza town.Nice resort. No clubbers
Have a look on www.ibiza-spotlight.com
charlie

Thanks for the info . Good site.

I have just come back from a a week in Ibiza, i have been there many times before and my favourite of them all is either playa de bossa or santa eulalia, but thats because i have children with me, my friend stays in Sant antonio every year but thats not ideal with children
Tango Bunny

I've not been to Ibiza for many years but we also stayed at playa den bossa with the kids when they were little
Its an ideal resort,so close to the airport and with a lovely little beach.
We stayed at the Bossa Park....fab little freindly hotel
Where did you stay??
kellie

We stayed at the Mare nostrum twice but it has been taken over now by a different firm and seems a little run down
Tango Bunny

That's a shame....we passed by several times and it looked like a nice place to stay.....if you go back try the Bossa park....if you go in May or Sept they do a full board for half board price option
kellie

Thanks for that
Acorncup

Anyone been to Ibiza lately?

We're thinking of going this year. Fancy Santa Eulalia, as hub went there when he was a teenager...

have got some hotels in mind, but they've all got advantages and disadvantages
Tango Bunny

Haven't been for 16 years but it is somewhere we have considered going back to
