Helen truly kept us going behind the scenes. When the crap was hitting the fan and we were ready to jack it all in, we always said we couldn't as it meant so much to Helen.
She rang me on my birthday. She was SO breathless, but wanted to wish me happy birthday in person. She told me she didn't think she would still be here if it wasn't for the forum, it kept her going when she was feeling so bad.

Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft star that shines at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there, I did not die.
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am the song that will never end,
I am the love of family and friend,
I am the child who has come to rest
In the arms of the Father
who knows him best.
When you see the sunset fair,
I am the scented evening air.
I am the joy of a task well done.
I am the glow of the setting sun.
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there, I did not die!

So very sorry, a lovely woman and a good friend, and so much fun to have around.
A friend is like a flower,
a rose to be exact,
Or maybe like a brand new gate
that never comes unlatched.
A friend is like an owl,
both beautiful and wise.
Or perhaps a friend is like a ghost,
whose spirit never dies.
A friend is like those blades of grass
you can never mow,
standing straight, tall, and proud
in a perfect little row.
A friend is like a heart that goes
strong until the end.
Where would we be in this world
if we didn't have a friend.

God how terrible, I was really shocked when i read this,
I dont know what to say either,

God bless Helen, and Thank you

We little knew this morning that God was going to call your name,
In life we loved you dearly,in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone.
For part of us went with you, when God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you, you are always at our side.
The Friendship chain is broken, and nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.

Helen's death has shocked so many people. Her posts showed her to be a kind and caring person. From the mountains and the glens we are on the march again
Sounding out the battle cries so famous
And we're here to stake our claim, we're the greatest in the game
As we rally, rally, rally round The Rangers
From the valleys we have come to the sound of beating drum
Marching under Glasgow Rangers' banner
And we'll hoist the Union Jack on the slopes of Ibrox Park
As we rally, rally, rally round The Rangers.

rabbie burns
O, my luve is like a red, red rose,
That's newly sprung in June.
O, my luve is like a melodie,
That's sweetly play'd in tune.
As fair art thou, my bonie lass,
So deep in luve am I,
And I will luve thee still, my dear,
Till a' the seas gang dry.
Till a' the seas gang dry, my dear,
And the rocks melt WI the sun!
And I will luve thee still, my dear,
While the sands O life shall run.
And fare thee weel, my only luve!
And fare thee weel, a while!
And I will come again, my luve,
Tho it were ten thousand mile!

What ever we were to each other, we still are.
Please call me by my old familliar name. Speak of me in the way you always did. Put no difference in your tone, wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow.
Laugh, as we always laughed, at the little jokes we enjoyed together.Play, smile and pray for me.
Let my name be the household name it always was, spoken without the shadow of a ghost in it
Life means all it ever meant. It is the same as it ever was, death is inevitable, so why should i be out of mind because i am out of sight?

Incredibly brave and dignified; if Helen knew she was on limited time. How easy would it have been to bathe herself in sympathy by making the severity of her illness known.
At least she is at rest from what must have been a perpetual struggle for life.
She was obviously a universaly much-loved lady. I feel i have personaly 'missed out' by not knowing her.

I would like to pass on my condolences to Helens Family.
You were a wonderful lady Helen you will be dearly missed.
Sleep tight hunny
Adieu, farewell, earth's bliss;
This world uncertain is;
Fond are life's lustful joys;
Death proves them all but toys;
None from his darts can fly;
I am sick, I must die.
Lord, have mercy on us!
Rich men, trust not in wealth,
Gold cannot buy you health;
Physic himself must fade.
All things to end are made,
The plague full swift goes by;
I am sick, I must die.
Lord, have mercy on us!
Beauty is but a flower
Which wrinkles will devour;
Brightness falls from the air;
Queens have died young and fair;
Dust hath closed Helen's eye.
I am sick, I must die.
Lord, have mercy on us!
Strength stoops unto the grave,
Worms feed on Hector brave;
Swords may not fight with fate,
Earth still holds open her gate.
"Come, come!" the bells do cry.
I am sick, I must die.
Lord, have mercy on us!
Wit with his wantonness
Tasteth death's bitterness;
Hell's executioner
Hath no ears for to hear
What vain art can reply.
I am sick, I must die.
Lord, have mercy on us!
Haste, therefore, each degree,
To welcome destiny;
Heaven is our heritage,
Earth but a player's stage;
Mount we unto the sky.
I am sick, I must die.
Lord, have mercy on us!
