I can't wait, got it Sky+ed.
Mind you I'm really going to miss David Tennent , it does take a while to get used to a new Doctor.

Thanks frank...
Very interesting....
never heard of him
here's a link about it...

But I have to say that on the TV interview, he certainly fitted the writers' description of "looking old and young" at the same time.
Although not classically good-looking, I thought his face was very expressive, and he had a lovely voice and nice hands
so i will certainly give him a chance
it's a bit of a shock he's so young though.......
and I will miss David too
edited to add another link...with snippets of the TV interview

I'm not sure he's got the cheekiness of the last two doctors, and he's so young.
I thought his voice was a little deep but I'm sure I'll get used to it.
I'm with you on missing David though Acorn.

I guessed it would be someone younger as that has been the trend in many films and series for 2 decades now. It also leaves open a chance for romance with one of his female companions (a young Doctor can't really have a male companion). He certainly looks weird.
I was surprised to hear David Tennant talking in his normal voice, that he has a pronounced Scottish accent.

Theres contoversy going on in the Dr who anorak forums about the '12 regenerations rule'. Aparently there can only be 13 versions of Dr Who, and we've just about run out !
