Lagotel Alcudia, Majorca.Just returned from 2 wonderful weeks in the Lagotel. Kids loved the complex, so much so that we didnt get out and about very much in the evening.
We stayed in a 2 bed Apartment on a SC basis however for 55 Euro for Adults and 35 for Kids we were able to Upgrade to HB for 5 days. We thought this was a very reasonable price. Food was good somenights and very good others. We always managed to find something which we like everynight even the fussy eaters.
We enjoyed the nightly entertainment, maybe we are easily pleased. Kids loved the bingo even if we did have the most awful bingo Caller who loved the sound of his own voice. Some of the shows are very good. We really enjoyed the Grease show put on by the entertainment reps.
If you are expecting to be in Alcudia you will be disappointed. It cost almost 12 euro to get to the port area in a Taxi which I thought was expensive. However there is loads to do within walking distance and no need to be heading to the Port area each night.
One aspect I found off putting was a couple of large gangs on teenagers hanging around the bike rental area of the complex at night. I felt it could have done with the presence of a security guard.
All in all we had a wonderful holiday and would love to return in a few years.

Hi Waterford , nice review the hotel has two blocks the appartment block is quieter than the main hotel. Although the hotel is set back from the main road there is a shuttle bus down to the beach area . As you said its a long walk down to the main area of alcudia but me and the good lady often walked down to bellevue along the beach ( if we could get past the Swan pub)
