Hi Green fingered ones.. .. ..

Just popped in for a moan.....

The house behind me has a huge garden and between us is an un-made road and i'm the last house on the end. When i moved in here someone else owned it and at the bottom of the garden was a huge thick / dense hedgerow with many wild shrubs and woodland plants. it used to arch over the alley and was a real pain because the birds would TOM

all over my car if i parked outside my garage but, it looked lovely and the wild life it supported was fantastic.

The new neighbour soon got rid of the hedgerow and for a couple years i never saw a sparrow, wren, robin, black cap as they dissapeared with the hedge.

I've got a small garden and ive done my best to get the wildlife back and this morning my neighbour is cutting down a really healthy big connifer. I feel like jumping over his fence (no tall hedge now) and smacking him round the head with his stainless steel gardening shovel :evil:

Its SPRING and i know there were nests in this last year so his not only removed another bit of green his also ripped out a few nests..

I wish these gardening programmes would emphasize some of these points i'm moaning about here as it has a massive impact on the wild life in our towns..

What you didn't know was that the CCTV camera has been running all day and I've got my mate in C I D trying to get an ID on these two

And when I asked someone to sort out the weed this definitely wasn't my intention.

Please note that to save the proliferation of daisies on the lawn I've got a man coming to spread this liberally all over the garden, its been noted as the best form of family planning when daisies get too rampant.
