Independence of the SeasA month today and we'll be on board IOTS awaiting departure from Southampton on our first proper cruise ( as opposed to the down the Nile jobbie which although a cruise isn't on the open seas)She's not yet handed over to the cruise line, having just returned to the builders after successful sea trials. One of the builders who travelled on the sea trials took some wonderful pics : here and here If anyone's thinking of joining her later in the season, let me know of anything you want me to check out for you while aboard and I'll try to help! |

Yes that's the one. Southampton >> Madeira >> Lanzarote >> Tenerife >> Gran Canaria >> Lisbon >> Vigo >> Southampton She looks incredible; As it's just over four weeks, excitement is starting to kick in! |

Well, yes she's HUGE.....largest cruiseship afloat at present (until next year when the Oasis of the Seas sets sail)
Weather was unfortunately mixed, but still had a superb time, and are now planning the 2009 cruise! (After Vegas in October, Kenya in November and ski-ing in February, lol) |

how fab is that. ooo thnkas for sharing them....i so want to cruise next year...but hopefully it will be the nile one...so that not proper cruising!! |
