i neeed to know what plants i can easily keep in pots/tubs, but i really need these to not very flower very much as one of my kids gets bad hayfever.
we have borders we can plant in, and there are la oin the garden but i dont have a clue what most of them are.
i think we have a lavender bush, and weeping willow tree( but it has really squiggly branches)

Karen, you want stuff that will keep the foliage a long time and change colours etc. Pieris, hebes, azaleas etc are all good - as long as the soil is suitable. Plus an odd dwarf conifer here and there...but make sure they are dwarf!

What about those plants like the top of a palm tree, only with no trunk and red spears?
What are they called???
They're attractive. I'll add the name if I can think of it
