Thinking of taking our 6 month old grandchild with us next year to Cuba. I have never been to Cuba and looking for advice on travelling long haul with such a young baby.
Have any of you got any tips you can offer? What do you do about protecting baby from mossie bites? I don't think you can use deet on such a little one.
I would be very appreciative of any advice given.

but in all my travels to the Caribbean I've never seen a baby or young child with bites, maybe they don't taste right. Our then 7 old grandson didn't get bitten once last year in the Dominican Republic.

You could have problems getting baby supplies like nappies and milk in Cuba so you will have to allow for taking them with you when packing.

I've been on many long haul flights with young babies and its take off and landing they often don't like, I've been told that allowing them to suck at these times helps with possible ear discomfort.

Over the years I've seen many babies in the Caribbean and all of them seemed happy and healthy and enjoying the extra attention they get on holiday.
