Hotel Sol Costa Dorada Costa Dorada SpainThis hotel is to be avoided. It's usually going at a cheap rate and there has to be a reason for this. The hotel is the last outpost of Salou, it is handy for Port Aventura and nothing else. There is no public transport except for a trolley train and although the hotel advertises free transport to Port Av and down to the beach it is very limited. There are no bars, restaurants in the immediate area. Just rows of souless app blocks.
The food is the worst I have ever had anywhere and at any time. It was foul, they must have bought a load of the cheapest food and still could not cook it. Rooms comfortable and the hotel was very clean, the only redeeming features.
