Carol I have read really good reports about the Holiday Village in the costas. In fact one of members went last year, and I am sure if she sees this post she will reply 
Eight of us are booking to go in October of 2007  for two weeks. Thing is we cant book it until June this year when the new brochures come out
Just come back from the Holiday Village at Lanzarote and that was brill!

Debbie I went to Holiday Village Costa Del Sol in 2004 (the year they opened)
I just wanted to know what new things they had this season.
We loved it and cant wait to go back

Carol we loved the one in Lanzarote and that is why we are off to the Costa Del Sol next year 
MOst of the reps that are in Lanzarote now are off to the Costa one in April. They were a great bunch

I would have preferred to try a differant Holiday Village but the 2 boys wanted to go back to Costa.
I am so looking forward 124 days buy hey who is counting

Carol etc - is it good for young kids? David and I are planning to go on holiday first week in July. Our friends are coming with us. Between us there will be five kids - oldest 7. Is there plenty for them to do.
Also, we are not really "lie about the pool" types. Prefer to be on the move. Is there lots to do/walking etc.?
If not in costa del sol - what about the other Holiday villages you have been to.

Moreen there is loads to do for kids especially under 7. I do not like the lying about the pool thing either and there was always plenty going on.

Less than 2 weeks to go.
There had been some very bad reviews about the food but thankfully the hotel got their act together and paid more money for the husband and wife team of chefs whom were there last year to come back. They flew them from Cyprus and I believe that the food has greatly improved since they have been there.
