help with fushia bulbs?Need abit of help!
What do you do with fuscia bulbs after they have flowered?

As far as I know there is no bulb....It's a shrub so should have a root.
If it's totally finished flowering you can do one of 2 things...If it's a hardy variety you can insulate the pot with bubblwrap or thick layer of newspaper at the end of the autumn and put a good covering of straw around the shrub itself to protect it from the winter frost.
Or you can take it in....to a greenhouse garage or shed where it will be protected
If it's the half hardy or tender variety you will have to bring it in or you will lose it.
Before next year you should at some point prune the growth back to at least 4 nodes in readiness for next years growth

Emma, i would just say it is better to prune early spring, this gives a little more protection to the crown....and, you can then prune the dead/diseased stuff first.

I better just add that my bit is in additon to Tangos excellent advice, in case it wasnt 100% obvious to all.
