Help for shrubs - semi shadeWe have an 'largish' corner area at the back (in a raised bed) of the garden which we are looking at putting in a couple of specimen plants/shrubs. The area is protected by fencing to two sides but unfortunately has a large tree overhanging it from the other side of the fence on the road, so is semi shaded. At the moment we have a large established Cordyline, two azaleas, a Castor Oil plant, which is now a lovely healthy shrub (was a house plant!), a small Jap. Maple and a clematus growing up the side fence. We are looking at putting in a couple, perhaps three medium sized shrubs which will give some Summer and Autumn colour (either foliage or flowers) as everything we have at the moment is Spring, especially the hundreds of dafs which are just finishing. In another few feeks there will be no colour at all. Am going to edge the area with beeing plants in a few weeks time though.
Any help - ideas much appreciated

At a guess a beeing plant is a mis-spelt bedding plant.
Blueheather try here for the plants you need.

Just goes to show how much I know about plants - I thought it was some kind of plant that repelled or attracted bees !
