Only been to Lagos for the day. Pleasant town, with pedestrianised areas for shopping and eating. A bit more quaint than Albufiera old town. Some excellent beaches and coves nearby. Seemed like a nice place to take a break.

We are going to Quarteira. We have never been to Portugal before. We have been looking in bookshops for a decent travel guide and we are a bit dissapointed to find that in each book we look at they don`t seem to have anything positive to say about the resort. I know it`s an old resort and is made up of a lot of high rise buildings. Can anyone tell me something positive about it?
