hi there, anyone know the name of a guide book that names all the campsites in the uk? ta for any advice.
Or if you know of any good camp sites for tents that you have stayed in?

Don't forget my camping days are well and truly over for the time being and it's probably 6-10 years since we last visited these sites.
They were picked for their location and faclities and all had a pool and clubhouse except the last one but you did get free entry into the woodland leisure park if you piched there....brill activities for kids

when we went camping we went down south...to somerset, dorset and the isle of wight.

if you are interested in any of these areas...i can hunt out the sites we stayed in.

Lorraine I have stayed many times in kiln park, but recently they seem to have out priced themselves. And the last time we went there it was very busy and quite dirty.

I can highly recommend
Muasdale caravan and camping park in Kintyre, Scotland.
Tregarton Park, Gorran Haven, near Mevagissey.
Woodhill Park, Cromer, Norfolk.
Doe Park, near Barnard Castle, Co. Durham.
The various caravan and camping magazines give site guides away each year with the magazines, there are also lots of sites on the internet that list campsites.
