D.I.Y. Florida? The best tip you will getIf your doing or thinking of doing a D.I.Y. holiday to Disney you will be very hard pushed to beat this Town House for value for money. We have stayed here Click here Its so central you couldn't pick a better place if you try. (No it's not my place I only wish it was) From booking to the last day, We couldn't have ask for more. There is everything you could want, laid on Even free phone calls home. There was just the two of us (we had the three bedded one) and it was great value for us, So to fill it up speaks for its self. Wallmarks just at the top of the road (192) Disney minutes away International Drive minutes away. Go to the top of the road turn left and your on the way to Melbourne Great beach Great shopping Mall. OR go to Cape Canaveral same route. We have lost count how many time we've been to Florida and that was the best value we've ever had.

Hi Waterford. Yes it is that close Its central for EVERYTHING its that good. I will see if I can post some pics later of the house its self. BUT bare in mind if your thinking of going around Christmas you'd better book early because the ( What the Americans call the Snowbirds) come down from the north for the warmer weather over Christmas every years.
We have done quite a lot of D.I.Y. holidays in Florida so if I can help Please don't hesitate to ask

thanks woodz. Got a good price yesterday from a travel agent for the 6 of us. Just under 4k for 4 bed house, flights and car hire with fully inclusive insurance. The house is in an area called Remington and I feel it may be a bit far from Disney even though the agent said about 15 minutes.
If we do DIY the community I am looking at is Windsor Palms. We had got a great price on a condo for the 18 nights but we are now thinging of getting a home with a private pool that we can heat because it will be a bit cool to swim outdoors at that time of year.

Debbie what is the name of the area you are staying in.
I have heard that some of the newer developments can be anything up to 45 minutes away from Disney, I would love to get a place that you could get to very early and come home if it gets busy during the day and go back at night time.

Nervous but anxious and excitied ...

Oh hope both Missy & Debbie have a wonderful time. We have to wait until december to go.
Well guess what we did today. We booked our Villa. A 4 bed with a pool that we can heat in December in Windsor Hills which is supposed to be only 3 miles from Disney. and pretty close to Fromosa Gardens Boulevard which has lots of restaurants.
Boy are we getting excited.
