Caravan StorageWe had a phone call on Thursday from the loady who owns the land our caravan is stored on that as from next month they are no longer stgoring caravans. So I`ve spent the last few days trying to find somewhere local to keep it, with no luck, and it looks as if we are going to have to keep it at Skegness, which, although it`s a perfectly good storage place, means a 50 mile journey there and back to pick the van up, before we even set off on holiday, extra time, extra petrol, then the same again hen we come home. It`s also going to cost us more, but never mind, we have to keep it somewhere. Sorry, rant over.

Number did you find any where?
Is there any farms in your area? Ive found that my local farms have storage areas, also any nearer camp sites often do storage ?

Hi Colette, yes we found somewhere, but it`s 25 miles in the wrong direction, unless we can find somewhere nearer to home. We need somewhere that either offers a washin g service, or has washing facilities available. Where we are at the moment, in a field behind a local house, we can`t wash it, and have to tow it off there to where my husband works in order to wash it, which is a bit of a bind. Anyway, we`ve got till the end of April, but if nothing else turns up we`ll settle for the one at Skegness. Thank you for asking.

Hi, we think we`ve found an alternative to having to trail all the way to Skegness. We`ve been to look at a place only a few minutes away that we didn`t know existed till the other day. It`s going to cost us an extra £49 a year, but that`s compensated for by the fact that we won`t have to travel nearly 50 miles at the start and finish of our holidays to collect and return the van, this place is actually on the way.
