Car Hire from GatwickI am finding car hire in the UK rather expensive. I am comparing to prices we pay in Spain. 2 nights in the UK are costing me almost the same as 7 nights in Spain.At the moment the best deal I can get for 2 days is £80 for a Focus and that is with Argus Car Hire. I was just wondering is there anyone out there familiar with Car Rental and if they know a good realiable company they would recomend. Thank You all again your replies have been wonderful. |

Does your airline have links with a 'preferred hire company'? I'm flying into Gatwick at the end of June and Air France has links that gave me a cheaper car hire than the others - about £69 for 3 days for a tiny car!
Also have you tried Holiday Autos? I usually find they undercut the major companies, but use them as HA are only brokers. |
