I love Cyprus, but haven`t been for quite a while. You need to hire a car for a few days at least, then you can get to places the tour buses don`t get to.

I'm hoping to go in October. Does anyone know what the weather is supposed to be like at that time of year?
I've been lots of times in August (way too hot for my hubby and the little ones), February is like Spring here but never been at the back end of the season.

You will love Cyprus, im certain of it Karen! Never been to Paphos, always stayed on the Eastern coast ........ but we know people who have stayed in Paphos and have loved it!  The people are so welcoming ....... and make sure you go to the Troodos mountains, and the waterfalls on the way aswell........

We liked Paphos, also liked Limassol, despite it being a bit over commercialised, didn`t care much for Larnaca, apart from the fort. Loved going up int the Troodos mountains, leaving the beaches behind and walking through the snow in summer clothes! Mind you, that was in April.
