I caught part of a programme last night about Africa's child witches

I couldn't believe what I was seeing - those poor children being tortured all because the adults have it seems watched a horror film and believed it !

I might catch up with it online when I'm feeling more able to cope with it.

Unfortunately there are many horrid things that go on around the world due to ignorance.

Christian exorcism frequently means beating the bejabbers out of someone, often a child, in the hopes of getting the demon to leave. A number of children have been beaten to death by this method while their parents looked on.
