Woohoooooooo, the "coming soon" adverts are on TV. I don't like it at the beginning when all the idiots are on (staged IMO).

It's the only thing I watch on TV.

I agree with nick. It is the first few weeks I like. Watching the people who think they can sing ... and soo can't. Picking out the potential ones. Listening to Simon's comments. I get a bit bored once it gets to the later stages. After all no matter who wins they usually disappear after a couple of months.

I only watch the initial shows when they are weeding out the truly awful ones - they are the best bits of the whole show!

I stop watching when they've got their finalists and they all start singing the same themed songs every week. I just don't care at that point. As others have said, they all turn out to be flashes in the pan anyway.

Just caught a bit last night, the hype has gone completely OTT with the judges appearing on the balcony to accept the glorification of the masses its enough to make you throw up.
