I have read several good reviews about the Wire an American cop series but before I order series 1 on dvd I was wondering if anyone has seen it.
I think it has been on tv at some late hour without any adverts so I missed it.
Reviews seem to say It's very gritty and Its an 18 cert, Im use to programmes like CSI and the Shield but if this is just full of swearing and violence Im not sure Id be too keen if Its very depressing.
Amazon/Play have series one for £9.99 which seems cheap.
