i did my drama 'o' level to sweets black betty, loved them, my mum used to make my younger brother wear his hair just like brian conolly. i read he had died a while back as well, don't know if thats true.

just googled it--he died of liver failure in 1997, drummer died as well in 2002 of leukemia.
