Sara Paretsky books

Does anyone else read her books? They are about a female private eye called V. I. Warshawski.

I've read them all and love them, they remind me a bit of Sue Grafton's books (A ifs for Alibi etc).

I just got the latest Sara Paretsky in paperback, "Fire Sale" and cant wait to finish the book I am on so I can start it.

I`ve not heard of her before guest, but will look out for her when I go on my next book hunt. I like finding new writers when it comes to thrillers.

her books are a bit like Sue Graftons though number - they are stand alone stories but it helps to read them in order for the history of her and her relationships etc.

I`ll check the list in the front and buy them in order then. Has she written a lot of books, because as I said, I haven`t come across her as yet?

She's written a fair few, I've been reading them over a lot of years but there seems to be ages between new ones.

If the list at the front of my new one is in order, the first one is called "Blacklist".

Thanks, I`ll keep a lookout, I`ve still got about 6 books left to read, hoping to get more book tokens at Christmas! Hubby doesn`t understand why I LIKE getting book tokens, I don`t think he`s ever read a book in his life!
