Afrer visiting Cornwall in April, I am now dreading travelling down there in 4 weeks time due to the major roadworks that were being carried out at Indian Queens.

Has anyone been there recently? - just wondered if they have got much further with it and the dalays are any better.
We go the first weekend of the school summer holidays and it's usually quite bad anyway, we leave home about 3.30am, just wondering if it's worth leaving home the night before.

We were down there at the end of May, and I think you will be in for quiet a shock when you see how far they have got Yes when you come up to the roundabout it was still a nightmare, but not half as much as it has been since they first started doing it

We travel there alot from Devon as my MIL lives there, and when it is finished next year it will be a hell of alot easier for us to travel down there. Again I will confess that we do not go there in July and August because it takes hours to get through it all. We only did it once and it took us four hours from here, instead of the usual one and a half hours it takes

Most people tend to leave the night before Crew as well, so I really dont know if it will make it any better for you to be honest.

Thanks Paignton

I'll have a think, I don't really want to leave the night before as we are always hanging around waiting to get into our chalet as it is - as they won't let us in till 3pm!

We usually get down there about 9 am, in time for a good English cooked breakfast
