just a quickie , has anyone been to Rhodes , in particular Stegna just found a price for 1 week which is amazing BUT i need to know is there places to eat tere etc and also WILL THERE BE ANYWHERE THAT HAS THE WORLD CUP FINAL ON

if not looks like Lanzarote LOL

Steve, I don't know much about Stegna, but I know about Rhodes - off there again this summer, great place.
From what I can remember, Stegna is fairly quiet, not too big, with only one or two hotels. Great for a relaxing break I would think.

What sort of stuff are you interested in, maybe I can help?

just want to chill and relax for a week , BUT as i said i need to be able to see the world cup final so if its going to be a prioblem in Stegna as i said will have to spend a bit more and go to Lanzarote , as long as their is a bar some good eating places , and beach and a TV LOL we will both be happy , but the price i have been quoted is so good i just thought it must be crap but reports have been favourable on variuos sites

I'd grab it Steve! We went further South...(as you're looking at island...on right hand side) to Pefkos couple of years ago on a cheapie. Stegna is about half hour away from Rhodes Town...which is BRILLIANT! You can hire a car and do the whole island easily in a day. What's the name of the hotel/apartment?.....have a look on here www.holidays-uncovered.co.uk
