For the regulars who fly to Greece.
Olympic Airways is to be replaced by a new operator which will be called Pantheon Airways. Pantheons first flight is proposed to be on 26 October.
Pantheon will operate a reduced schedule of 92 destinations with frequencies reducedon many of these routes.

Hi locker......
It's not a done deal yet.........
OA is a big company with more than just aircraft in the air.
Pantheon Air will (if all goes to plan) focus on flights only and this is causing some trouble with the ground based business and staff.
Maintenance, ground handling etc as i think OA do pretty much all the work on the ground at most airports in Greece and that will leave some 4,000 employees out of a job. And their not happy about it.....
Pantheon will also cut a load of destinations and drop the frequency of flights to some destinations but, this only affects routes that were losng money.
Hopefully it will all go smoothly and the troubles pass without disruptions this summer......
As OA (Pantheon) is cutting back Aegean Airlines is growing ..
