What do People thing of this? Im inclined to agree with him, And im not being Sexist here, although it may come across like that, They have womens football, and they should stay within their respective genders, Men And women alike.
We have a woman who Ref's us on saturdays sometimes, and Every tackle we make is getting pulled up, ive been sent of 3 times by her, and there is always Bookings and sendings off, Swearing Too,like it or not is part of football, and That is often penalised to quickly.
Sometimes A Challenge can be made, and an elbow or high studs will be involved, and it happens, sometimes its not malicious, but only lads who have been involved in them challenges can make that decision, Its fact theres more Foul play involved in male football than Females football.
Like i said, this is making me sound sexist as hell, but im not at all, im all for Womens football, But if the FA rules stipulate that all players must be male, then the officials should be too, And The Same Goes for womens football. They shouldnt intermix. And No, im not Saying Women Shouldnyt be allowed anywhere near mens Football games, Of course they should, its good to see Women in the terraces,Shannon Comes to every town game with me.
But when it comes to the Game, i dont think the 2 should intertwine. Like hes said, Its political Correctness again.

| I dunno Liam, I'm not bothered - after all, with the shortage of refs nationwide I reckon they've got ot take whoever they can get. I have to say though, that the best ref I ever had (rugby, though, not footie) was a woman, and I've been reffed by some of the supposed best in the world. She was clear in her signals & explanations, made good use of advantage, and stood no nonsense. Brilliant! |

That is a good point, But Rugby is very different, There are alot of Gentleman in Rugby, there always polite to the Referees, In football its different, They have very little respect for officials, I mean, imagine Rayners reaction if she had a Angry Wayne Rooney in her face going mental like he usually does with officials, it would be bad. _________________ I feel like nothin' I do is ever right

True enough, Liam, but I think in rugby it's often more to do with the fact that the ref can move the penalty forward 10 metres for every piece of dissent, and if it crosses the try line, 5 points! We are seeing more "questioning" of decisions now in rugby, but you're right, in the main the culture is that of respect towards officials. How to transfer that to football, though, eh?
