have just summed up the courage to read this book...and Found it an interesting read yes it was harrowing,..but also an incite into the intrusion of the press..the legal system and peoples attiditudes
Anyone else read it and what did they think?

I read it last year, I remember a topic running on HT about it. The introduction made me cry as did a lot of the rest of it, but I was glad I had read it, very interesting insight.
However I felt sorry for their son who seemed to me to be sort of totally sidelined and isolated - anyone else think that? |

yup, true welshoney, I sippose I was being a bit judgemental really.....you just cant imagine being in the position they were in. I did like the dad better after having read the book than I had before...whioch sounds ridiculous as I had only ever seen little clips of him on tv. |
